December 2014

With Christmas (several celebrations!) and all of the holiday festivities, it's hard to choose my favorite December photos.  But here are a few of them.  We had a wonderful trip to Mississippi, celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary, and attended lots of fun kid and family events.

December also means football.  Here are David and Bailey in their matching clothes watching a game.

David and I braved the frigid temps to see Brennan marching with the middle school band in the Christmas Parade!

Thomas was with the parade as well, helping out his Robotics team.

I took the boys downtown to see the Christmas lights and all the stores decorated for the holidays.  We stopped at Zaharakos for ice cream, of course.

When do we get ice cream?

We attended a few holiday open houses.  We loved visiting Buster, who is the sweetest dog.

We had a holiday-themed wine club party at Lora and Brent's.
Wonderful food and beverages.  A great Christmas kick-off!
(Jayne, John, Brent, Greg)

Brennan's holiday band concert was really good.  There he is on timpani on the far right.

David and I celebrated our anniversary at Henry Social Club.

The Stewarts came to Indiana and we got to visit with them in Bloomington before the holidays took us in different directions.  What a great brunch!

Bailey's first Christmas!  We always celebrate Christmas at home before starting our week-long visit to Mississippi.

We may have had to wake Thomas up a little earlier than he had hoped (noon).

And then we headed to Mississippi where Bailey made himself at home on Grandma Carolyn's couch!

We celebrated with the Rupps, Grandma Carolyn, Annie, and Ted in Starkville.

Where we got to play with Stella and Dexter...

And then we headed to Canton to celebrate with the Johnstons, McGinns, and Haneys.

And Charles Curren was born the day after Christmas!  Jane Marie has a little brother.

We had a great time in Ridgeland, continuing our streak of seeing a new movie together.  This time "Into the Woods" which we all loved.

Silly cousins!

Here we are in Tylertown, visiting with about 25 others.  The chaos around us was awesome - 4 generations opening gifts, visiting, loving on Mamaw who was over from the nursing home for a couple of hours.  A great last stop on our trip before returning home.
